For optimal results incorporate each product in your daily routine. Consistency is key to achieving smoother, more even skin and reducing the appearance of scars.
Start with Clean Skin:
Begin by gently cleansing the affected area with a mild, non-abrasive cleanser to remove dirt, oils, and impurities. Pat the skin dry with a soft towel to ensure it is completely clean and ready for treatment.
Belly Baton/Belly Button Shaper:
Gently position the Belly Baton in your navel with the silicone rod extending vertically upwards, ensuring a comfortable fit.
Seal the attached Belly Button in place using the included hypoallergenic adhesive tape. Press gently to secure it, making sure it stays in position.
Apply Scar Gel (Morning & Night):
After cleansing and drying the area, apply a thin layer of scar gel directly onto the scar.
Allow the gel to absorb fully before applying any other products.
Use twice daily (morning and night) for continuous scar healing and skin improvement.
Place Silicone Scar Strips (After Scar Gel Absorbs):
Once the scar gel has absorbed, apply a silicone scar product directly over the scar. Ensure that the silicone scar shield covers the entire affected area.
Wear the silicone strips for 12-24 hours a day. For best results, leave them on overnight and replace with a fresh strip every 5-7 days.
Finish with Sunscreen (Daytime Use):
Before heading outdoors, apply a generous layer of the broad-spectrum sunscreen over the entire treated area.
Reapply every 2 hours if you are spending extended time in the sun or after swimming.
Sun protection is essential to prevent further darkening or damage to healing skin, ensuring your scars stay light and minimize their appearance.
Z.O. Skin Health | Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 50:
Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure.
Reapply at least every 2 hours.
Use a water resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating.
